There are many things in BDSM that are slightly hidden

that fall into the category of fetishes. Some of these

things you will absolutely love. The ones you look at and

say to yourself "gross! I'd never do that", or you get sick

just thinking about, those would be considered your

limits.

Limits are those things you set aside and stick a big "no"

tag on them. Those would be considered as hard limits.

The ones you look at and say "I don't really care for that",

would be your soft limits (the things you don't care to do,

but will if it pleases your dominant, or you may come to

enjoy eventually).

Before entering a D/s relationship, you should first set

your limits and share them with your Dominant in

question. The best way to do this is to fill out a "BDSM

checklist" and then spend time discussing the list with

your Dominant.

I know I was surprised when I saw my first "checklist"

there were many things I had never even heard of, a few

things were an absolute "no way", and others that

interested me that I wanted to try. For me, as a slave, I

have no limits, but I do have my preferences and I am

able to inform my Master of those preferences with my

checklist. Be sure when setting limits, your Dom/me has

a full understanding of all of them to avoid safety

problems as well as a future dilemma.
