Just like the voyages made by travelers hundreds of years ago, the

journey's were often long and arduous ones. Their ventures often led them into new, unexplored regions, areas they had never begun to imagine. Although their journeys were often filled with the unknown, with challenges, and adventure, and even occasionally heartbreak along the way, invariably, the journey always ended with exceeding all of their expectations!

I've found comparing some of these early voyages to the challenges

faced by many of today's submissives

provides an excellent analogy. Both

the early travelers and the submissive

seeking their place in the lifestyle are

venturing into unknown areas. Both

seek to learn about their new worlds,

both prepare to learn new customs, new and different ways of doing things, in essence, new ways of living their lives. Whether an early voyager, or today's submissive, once the journey is completed, there is an almost unfathomable set of pleasures, rewards and delights awaiting to celebrate the arrival at the final destination.

This web site, "A submissives journey", is maintained with that

analogy in mind. Regardless of whether you are just starting out, or have already completed your journey, this site and community is here for you. As a submissive you'll find many of the things you will need to complete your journey right here. Use this site as you would a road map or a tour book. Take the time to stop and take in all the wonders this lifestyle has to offer. The more you can learn as you venture forth through your journey, the more you'll enjoy the ultimate arrival at your final destination where your ultimate happiness, self-fulfillment and inner happiness await you.
