Alcohol, Drugs and BDSM Play

Do not drink before entering a situation where you may get

 involved in BDSM play ~ no, I'm not saying this to ruin

 your evening... but alcohol and drugs can cause you to lose

 accurate control and sense of your body, and you may end  up causing harm to yourself because you were not able to know when to stop... not to mention that being under the influence put you in a very vulnerable situation~ you don't  want to discover you did some things you would be ashamed of later, or worst ?...

 Do not play with someone who's been drinking or taking drugs !  ~ again, the Dominant could lose His or Her sense of strength, not listen to you should you use your safeword or cross other important limits.  Just as you wouldn't trust yourself to riding a car driven by a drunk driver,  don't play with a Dominant under the influence of alcohol.  Likewise, a submissive who has been drinking can lose his or her senses, be un-aware of pain or injury, or even cause harm to his or herself. 

 Do drink a lot of nonalcoholic drinks ! ~ during play, your  body uses a lot of energy... Dominants will probably feel the thirst, submissives- even if it seems the Dominant is doing all the hard word, there is a huge energy flow. It is most recommended that you ask for a drink every once in a while ~ cold water can be a lifesaver just when you thought you were about to stop everything...
