Welcome to the Dom's Lounge. Although this section of our web site is primarily intended for Dominants, I'm sure we'll find an occasional subbie or slave wandering in here, but that's okay! We don't have anything to hide, so come on in ladies, look around, perhaps you'll learn something. Or, at the very least, you'll be able to point your Dom towards this site as a learning resource.
There are a wide variety of resources to be found here on the A submissives journey (Asj) web site, don't let the site name fool you. Many of these resources are dedicated to the Dominant.
If you haven't visited our forums, you'll find these provide an excellent opportunity to not only learn more about the realities of the Dominant submissive lifestyle, but also an opportunity to share your knowledge and experience.
The chat rooms here on the Asj site are not role play rooms, rather they are intended to provide the opportunity to talk with others, get to know them as they get to know you. Yes, to a great extent, they serve as a place for a girls initial orientation into the Dominant submissive lifestyle. We do have our community protocols and as a Dominant, we'll expect you to help us enforce those.
There is a wide diversity of subjects or topics here on the Asj web site. With nearly 2,000 pages of lifestyle related topics, you'll be hard pressed to find a subject that we've overlooked. Whether you're looking for the basic building blocks of a Dominant submissive relationship (Communication, Respect, Trust and Honor), advice or guidance on chores to task, methods of enforcement or discipline, defining limits, or how to's for BDSM play or scenes. Spend a few minutes, look over our various Index/Topic pages (there are currently 9 total) or wander through our members only pages (yes, there are additional postings there).
Although currently being reorganized and modified, these pages are intended to provide you with information about the Dominant submissive, Master slave and BDSM lifestyle. For many of you, perhaps this is "old hat", things you already know and have done. Contrary to the popular belief, that there is no such thing as a Novice Dominant we all have to start somewhere, regardless of our role or place in the lifestyle. If you're a novice Dominant, don't ever be hesitant to admit you are new to the lifestyle, we've all been there at least once. There are many things to be learned. Even with decades of experience I find Myself constantly learning new things.
