Financial Play

The first thing to remember about Financial play, is that; as in all forms of BDSM/fetish play the people engaging in it should be doing so in a safe and consensual way, just as in all other forms of play slaves will have their limits and as ever all dominants should respect them. It is important that slaves should be discreet with their financial information until they truly trust the dominant not to abuse it. Financial exploitation play and financial worship are probably the most popular forms of online erotic fantasy/BDSM play it is probably the best way to use a slave in a real way in a online setting.

The main argument within the BDSM community at the moment concerning money play is that the whole concept is just an attempt to re brand Pro-domination which is something some people see as a form of prostitution even though actual sexual penetration is not generally involved. In the case of dominants who provide or demand specific payment for specific services it is possible to look upon them in such a way even if you do not attach any negative connotations to providing such services. I will not try to fully outline the arguments for and against financial domination mostly because they are totally irrelevant to the people who choose to engage in it, my intention for this website is to provide simple practical information and not lengthy arguments about motivations behind specific practices. Though having said that I do think it is necessary for me to point out the fact that some people within the BDSM community do carry a certain disdain for people who like to engage in this form of play. Ultimately; in my opinion as with most things people ether like it or they don’t, in the same way that some people in the BDSM community like to engage in genital torture and other people don’t, for some slaves being financially “exploited” is something of a fetish and others see being financially controlled as an integral part of handing power over themselves to the dominant that is controlling them.

Financial play has three main approaches, they are financial domination, financial control and financial worship, the goal when using financial domination is to exert a sense of control over a submissive / slave, this can be archived though demands as well as more direct intervention. For example a dominant could take direct control over a  slaves main bank account, the dominant can take whatever money he wants from the slaves account and leave the slave with a small monthly allowance to live on if he so decided. There are many ways in which a dominant can establish a sense of financial control over a  slave though the implementation of such control can often be somewhat troublesome, it might be a major fetish for some  slaves though finding slaves that truly are interested in carrying out this particular fetish in the real world is often difficult. Financial exploitation is when a dominant uses a slave as a resource producer, the most common way of exploiting the slave is through a tax system. The dominant imposes a tax on the submissive / slave and sometimes comes up with a mutually satisfying reason as to why the slave should pay it, there is a vast range of variations on this basic principle. The main goal of financial worship is to basically make a dominant feel adored,  it also gives the slaves who like to engage in it the feeling that through offering such worship they are truly being of service to a dominant which in turn can give them a significant sense of satisfaction.

Financial play can offer an online slave a sense of satisfaction though being able to serve their dominant or suffer exploitation and control in a very direct way that can have a very true sense of intimacy. Slave verification tribute - A current and growing trend among younger dominants is to request a financial tribute from a slave when they first meet online, the dominant asks for the payment from the slave to ensure that the slave is truly willing to submit in some real way and thus not just wasting the dominants time. I have sympathy for slaves not interested in money play who think that they should not have to pay to prove their worth though at the same time I acknowledge the fact that it is an effective way for dominants to protect themselves from time wasters. I am quite sure fake dominants who waste the time of slaves will also be requesting financial tributes and then not turning up to meetings so that the slave will have wasted both time and money. Personally I do not request financial verification tributes from slaves when I am considering meeting them though having said that I do find that I look on slaves with a much more positive light if they do offer me one when they initially approach me, I am only human and to be given gifts is somewhat flattering after all.

Slave Shopping - A fun way for a dominant to financially exploit a slave is to take the slave shopping and let the slave pay for everything their dominant decides to buy. A dominant can try clothes on and then strut around in front of the slave while saying things like “look what I am going to let you buy me with your hard earned cash”. It would also provide a dominant with an interesting forum for publicly humiliating their slave in front of shop assistants or other customers though I do advise that dominants should try to read the situation and should not use their slaves in anyway that is liable to offend, It is also possible to shop with slaves in this way online, a dominant can find things he likes and then let the slave pay for them and have them sent direct to the dominants home.

Slave Tax/Tribute - This is possibly the simplest from of money play though having said that it is also the one that is possibly the most popular, the dominant sets a specific amount of money or a percentage of the slaves wages that has to be handed over to the dominant at specific intervals such as once every week or every month. Paying a tribute in such a way really gives a slave the feeling that they are working to benefit their dominant directly, for slaves interested in financial play it generally gives them a sense of purpose.

Slaves who want to show how obsessively interested they are in a particular dominant will also occasionally purchase an item of their worn clothing just to demonstrate the fact.

Verbal domination - Slaves interested in being verbally dominated/abused and financially used will pay a online dominate to abuse them verbally online using a microphone or for arranging a phone call. There are also websites that a dominant can join that will allow them to record abusive messages that a slave can then pay to listen to or using the same website the slave can phone the dominant and chat to them though at a very high per minute rate.
