"The Three Legged Stool"

The submissive is like a three legged stool - comprised of three legs. The legs representing the emotional, the mental, and the physical beings of the submissive. As a Master, one must ensure that all three legs are firmly attached, and cared for...OTHERWISE, the submissive (the stool) will fall and not be functional, nor will the D/s relationship.

Masters, we have a responsibility to ensure that all three are in synch and balance....that one leg does not become the dominate leg....again, if that happens, the stool falls. The physical leg of the stool is the easiest to learn to care for....the emotional and mental so directly tied to its care....in truth, all are a major part of the one.....the stool.

New Masters, remember the stool as you care for your little one....to not care for the emotional, mental legs and focus only on the physical will ensure your failure and your little one's failing to grow in their submission.
